Venue: Burlington Public Library (Central Branch)
We all love food, so how could we be throwing nearly half of it in the trash?
Join us as we watch food lovers Jen & Grant take on quite a challenge. For six months, this couple vows to quit grocery shopping and to survive solely on foods that would otherwise be thrown away. Take a glimpse into our standards for food production, and where this system is failing, leaving millions of pounds of food in the landfill, and half the world malnourished.
